HANAY HAY ROAD BRIDGE & BRIDGE OVER M6 TOLL
These bridges are today set about 400 metres apart, but prior to 1994 and the building of the M6 Toll motorway there was just the one, the new bridge opening just seven years before the line closure, thanyfully, or the cost of building such a bridge would scupper any attempt to reopen the line.
The Hanay Hay Road leads from a roundabout on the A5 Watling road to Chasetown with a junction just the other side of the bridge leading to Hammerwich.
